My intro

Hello all. My name is Alan Danner. My nickname is Al E Kat. That was my CB handle on the road for thirty four years. No relation to Scanner Danner. I live in Georgia. I'm a retired truckdriver. I'm not a trained mechanic, but I like to work on my own vehicles with the help of you tube videos. My only real interests are keeping up my vehicles, repairing things around the house, and taking care of the landscaping in my yard. I have two wonderful grandsons who I really enjoy spending time with. I enjoy watching football. Alabama is my college team as I was born and raised there, and I come from many generations of Danner's who were and are all Alabama fans. The NFL team that I like and support are the Pittsburgh Steelers. I had a 2014 HD Street Glide Special that was my pride and joy. I had to retire from trucking due to a chronic health condition that left me without the use of my arms and legs. After six weeks in a therapy hospital, and the miracle of modern medicine, I am no longer in a wheel chair, but I only regained about 60% of my strength. I only say this to say I had to let go of my Harley, and can't ride anymore. I miss it a lot, but I'm up and walking around, and life is good. I already sent an issue with one of my cars to Scanner Danner, and I hope to hear his take on said issue soon. Thanks for letting me join in the Scanner Danner group!
