Welcome to the community p55giordano 8-).

On these kind of vintage cars you mention the scope is an excellent tool! Used as an ignition scope it will reveal so much information, on the electrical condition of a vehicle as well as the mechanical, even relative compression.

An expert is someone who knows each time more on each time less, until he finally knows absolutely everything about absolutely nothing.

Welcome !
On old style distributor system you can get a lot of useful captures beyond just secondary iginition KV  voltage.   With distributor system you can check dwell angle and check for distributor wear  and also current ramp the coil.
Another ignition test is checking that the coil ballast resistor is getting bypassed when the starter is operated.
You can do a cranking compression test by either the voltage or current methods and test the battery condition with a cranking voltage test.
On the charging and battery you can do charging voltage and alternator ripple  on old style DC dynamos you can check the commutator and  operation of an  old style electromagnetic cut-out control box
Of course if you add a pressure sensor you can do running compression tests
