So I first would like to thank Paul for getting this thing up and running I've been a subscriber for the last few years and enjoy watching his videos on my free time as it has been very helpful in my career as a tech. I've been in the industry for almost 20 years and a ASE master certified tech and a X1 patch holder and I am currently studying for my L1 as this test is scheduled for next month but still actively learning new diagnostic skills thanks to Scanner Danner, it makes a better tech to admit we don't know everything and even taking us back to the basics and start hitting the target with new skills in our arsenal. Over 1/2 my career I was a heavy line tech and a undercar specialist so I really didn't get into all the good stuff till I wore my body out, now i cant get enough diagnostics as I'm hooked.
I would also like to take the time and say great job to a lot of people out there who are responding to the need of help on these forums its great to see a community like this work, in the field we us IATN and Identifix for research and now this which is great to see.
I like the fact as well Paul introduced this forum with no tolerance for butt heads which is great most of us deal with that day to day and it gets exhausting so I'm excited to take part in this community as i hope I've been able to help and will continue to do such when a see an issue that I've witnessed first hand.
So with that shout out to all members, Thank you for being a part of something good. See ya out in the Q&A

This sounds like my life almost exactly. The first 8 years of my career I did some diag but I had no schooling, all hands on, so I really didn't have an understanding of what I was looking at. Second 8 years I did absolutely zero diag. But now I do lots of diag work and have an actual understanding of what I'm looking at. I look forward to getting the check engine lights now. I love this stuff.Mike N wrote: Over 1/2 my career I was a heavy line tech and a undercar specialist so I really didn't get into all the good stuff till I wore my body out, now i cant get enough diagnostics as I'm hooked.
