Just thought I'd join up. One can always learn something new. I have a new Bosch 1350 on order because my AutoEnginuity setup finally died. My current project is a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse with ECM issues. ...J.D.

I am a bit behind the learning curve. I was in the auto repair industry until 1984. I went back to school and became an Operating Engineer. Now that I am retired, I have been catching up on the newer technologies. This month I sorted out my 2001 Mitsubishi V-6. I had farmed it out to 2 different professional shops, but nobody could make it run right. I got tired of it taking up parking space, so I bought a scan tool and fixed it. I may be old and slow but the brain still works ...J.D.

Welcome (I'm new here too). Many of us grew up wrench in hand. Grew up under the hood of my dad's hotrod Ford flatty. Life moves on. You have to be willing to grow your skills. But once a mechanic, always a mechanic. 12 yrs. in to a union pension at this point. ...J.D
