Bad expansion valve or evaporator ? was created by Aprendiendo369
2007 Honda odyssey 3.5 v6.. wife did take it to the shop to service the ac.they evacuate the air and moisture for about 50. Minutes then proceded to recharge it.
Only to find out that the rear ac only works when you are driving, and when slowing down and stop
only blows warm air
the front ac only blows warm air too
question, can I reset it with a scan tool ? Have an auteul scanner
or perhaps is the expansion valve or the evaporator, because the ac clutch kicks in when you activated the ac control
thanks and God Bless you all ,,,

If the AC works when driving, but not when stopped, check the cooling fan and air flow through the condenser. Do you have gauges to check High and Low pressures?

Again, verify good air flow through the condenser and post your High and Low side pressures.

With those pressures, you should have plenty of cold air.
Is the 'warm' air warmer or cooler than the ambient air temperature? Do you have any control of the temperature coming from the vent, at all? Does adjusting the temperature control to full heat give you HOT air? Or, is the temperature a constant "warm", no matter what position the temperature control is set at?About the front ac ? Is blowing only warm air

Hey,how are you doing?
Thanks for recommending messing w/the controls I never thought about it, as soon as I tried the hot temperature cold air star blowing out,of course the engine was clod..but when warmed up hot air came out.think the control were Lind of stuck.
The only think is the driver side is not as cold as the passenger side, but I think is the door I replaced last time…now I have cold air
Thank you again
