hello, new here just wanted to try out the forum. I just rebuild my first LS it’s a 06 Silverado with a 4.8 RWD. Now i am chasing a random miss with knock sensor codes P0327 & P0332. I installed new knock sensor and sub harness when i rebuilt it. Idles a bit ruff but somehow passed smog with flying colors. Check engine light only comes on after driving at highway speeds it seems. Spark strong but somehow passed smog of the secondary wave forms seem all over the place/ erratic.

Put the parts cannon Down.

Hello! I'm also currently working on a Chevy but with a 5.3, same codes, also random misses. EGR circuit problem as well. PCM complications. Customer says the knock codes have been present for numerous years and thinks they're still there because the last time he installed the sensors (because of the same codes) despite using the specified torque (service info indicates 14 ft. lbs.) he heard them crack but kept rolling with it. There is a note in the procedure on Prodemand for being aware of this possibility, it is a common problem. Is it possible that they broke? Have you checked for continuity from the PCM circuit to the pass thru connector and the pass thru connector itself? If you had the entire motor out is it possible that something may be in a funny place, squished, something, etc? Or they could be working as intended and are picking up noise/frequency that it shouldn't be. I looked through the DTC list on my own adventure and there were only 3 KS related codes, these two and one that literally said if one thing (don't remember what) checked good then to replace the PCM. Always love those guidelines. Anyway, just trying to keep the convo going and am also dealing with a truck with the same codes.

But this discussion may be better suited for the diagnostic assistance section thread of the forum, accessible in the main forum.
