Hello from Swindon, United Kingdom was created by Develin
Hi guys,
I am a construction specialist worked my way from carrying bricks and sweeping floors to higher management but the job has always just been empty and just a way to pay the bills. I've always been looking for a way into the automotive industry because cars are what I love, but either I couldn't find a job or was too old to be considered for training positions.
Well, I've found a YouTuber in the UK who owns a garage (PiggyPower - check out his build on small french track cars) who has been training me which has been great. He doesn't have a lift but it doesn't stop us from doing engine rebuilds or transmission jobs etc... almost 90% of people in the UK drive manual transmissions so there are pleeeenty of clutch jobs to do.
Just recently I bought myself a low end Autel scan tool because I saw a gap in my local market where people are honestly just bad at diagnosing faults on cars. I experienced this myself before I trained with Piggy that on occasion I'd spend thousands of £/$ and still not have my cars issues fixed.
I'm still a novice when it comes to car systems etc so I'm probably here to learn but if I find something useful, I'll post it if I think it will help someone out.
Great to meet you all! Where's everyone else from?
