Been watching Scanner Danner on the Interweb for a year or two and downloaded the ebook. Now to dig in a little further.
Long time DYI'er with a bunch of gas cars (Honda, Subaru, Toy, Nissan, Ford Focus (spit), Chevy 1500) and 2 diesel trucks (Dodge Cumming and Duramax 2500HD) to work on and looking for a bi-directional scanner to help with AC work. Don't necessarily need a scope function, but would be nice. Of course, my budget is $500, but could squeeze it to $800. Any suggestions?
Latest fiasco, swapped battery out on 2006 Honda Civic (daughter-in-law's car) and now radio doesn't work. Need radio code and everyone is telling me to take it to dealer to fix it. There is no sticker on glove box or paper work in vehicle to show radio code. The car is registered in her father's name and they said he must take it to the dealer. Any suggestions?
Update: Just did a search and found the radio-navicode.honda.com link from Tyler. Thanks Tyler!
Looking forward to tearing stuff up and a few skinned knuckles!
