introducing myself.

hi to everybody,
my name is Eric,i am living in the netherlands, in a town called Spijkenisse.
i am more or less a selfmade car technician.
I started my carrier by study electronics in 1970 and after i left .
, i worked in the chemical industry for almost 35 years were i became maintenance engineer specialized in instrumentation and rotating equipment while in my spare time i worked on motorcycles and cars facing all kind of problems and most of the time it ended in fixing the problem.
i also worked for 3 y as an automobile technician at a taxi compay were most of the time i worked on Mercedes-benz cars, but also on Audi's, Chevrolet and Hackney's(old englisch taxi cab)
Now that i am retired, i have even more time for fixing cars so many people come to me if they have trouble with their car, and becouse the automotive technics are verry fast evolving it seems a good idee to join this site to keep up with all the changes that go on in the automotive technic's of today and i think i can learn much here.
