Hey, been watching paul for a few years now, amazing to see someone with such a passion for what he does. I have sat through way too many of his you tube videos, multiple times. I came on this path around 5 years ago, some lady pulled across intersection on highway without looking our way, and there was three of us on our harleys, early in the A.M. heading to a poker run...guy that was behind me said I face planted the pillar and somersaulted over it doing two flips and landed in the middle of the hwy...but good news is....he said I moved the SUV 10 feet, my rear tire had hit his ankle/foot... but was enough for him and his granddaughter that was with him to get by, which was the first question I asked when I came too at the Hospital. Well, that day I decided to take my grandpa on Dads side up on the property he had been offering me for years, which I had been turning down because I didnt want a handout, and my dad was a good man, but he wasnt meant to be a Dad. He taught me how not to be one. Well, while going through this journey, I had started following the family tradition of wrenching, but I knew from the beginning I couldnt stand throwing parts at something till hopefully getting it right but usually not and it end up parking in the junk yard........anyway I came across paul a few years ago after a couple yrs of skipping over his videos because of "ScannerDanner" name and just figured it was some stuff like one other youtuber guy that is clickbait stuff, but one day walked in and there was this amazing teacher that was so enthusiastic in what he was doing and you could tell he loved it....and right at the end, I got the remote to see who this guy was, and it was ScannerDanner....and from that day I was hooked....but didnt have all the fancy tools after dad passed because my Dads ex(extreme narcissist, which is why he didnt leave her nothing) had stolen a truck load of all the good tools with a heaping bed.....Including the autel...which I see as a blessing now because I had to learn things the more difficult way and by the time I could afford a SnapOn Triton last January I had read Pauls book and watched enough of his videos that I knew kind of what I was looking at vs before where I just looked and thought something might be an issue but it was just normal stuff, and I wasnt just going in and looking at a code, i was going in looking for code, looking at live data, getting flow chart to atleast study the system, looking at the description and operation of the system before trying to tackle the issue, and getting some knowledge into systems that hopefully pays off in the future, So after I got the labscopes and accessories, I decided it was time to put videos to the book and get ScannerDanner Premium. I just want to thank you for all you have done for me Paul, I can never repay you for all the comedy/happiness that I have gotten from your videos while learning stuff, been a couple times that I was really down and I walked in and he was on the tv and made my mood turn around after that. Thank You Sir.
