Hello, I'm life long resident of Staunton, Virginia. I have been in automotive field since 1998/99. Currently main tech at a independent shop /used car dealer. My main interest/strong points is in diagnostics : Drivability ,electric/electronics. Past several years have started I to oscilloscope use as heavy as budget allows. Currently use hantek 1008c (feels like I need a degree to really use it good) miniware ds213,  multiple other small and diy built oscilloscopes. I'm really wanting to get a pico but the kits are out of range at the moment. What is the best route to go so upgrading and add ones won't require all new equipment.  Like should I wait and get the newest 2 or 4 channel or can older scopes be obtained and decently upgraded.....?

Welcome to the forum! I use a Verus Edge for my scope as I am also priced out of the Pico equipment.
