Hello from Alberta was created by cletuz
Hey guys. I'm an automotive enthusiast from central Alberta. I quit my automotive apprenticeship 3/4 of the way through to go work in the oil patch right out of highschool, but retained all my tooling and continue to wrench as a hobby - it's my true passion. Since leaving the trade nearly 15 years ago, I've since got my journeyman electrician ticket and now work for a large railway as a signals maintainer.
Two years ago I purchased a 2003 Silverado 1500HD for a steal from a friend of mine. It was running extremely poorly and he just wanted it gone. A failed upstream O2 sensor was the culprit of 90% of it's rough running issues and today I sit with a pretty nice LQ4 equipped truck that takes me hunting and pulls my trailer. I recently purchased a Launch millennium 90 pro to continue to diagnose intermittent misfires with the truck, and that's why I've created an account here today. I'm looking forward to growing my knowledge here and sharing what I've learned as well.

"Understanding a question is half an answer."
I have learned more by being wrong, than I have by being right.
