I'm an old school mechanic, owned two full service stations back in 70's and 80's. Got out of that business and did other things, but still work on cars. Have a 4-post lift in my garage and full set of tools.
We never had any of the electronics stuff to worry about back in my day. But nowadays, it's mostly electronics, haha. I figure it's about time I learn how to use my existing scan tool (AutoEnginuity on a laptop) or buy a better one, and diagnose correctly, versus always just firing the parts cannon at everything.
At age 71, I'm eager to learn about scanning and diagnosing, the right way! Thanks
