"Ground cannot be checked with a 10mm socket"
New Forum Tips And Tricks! was created by Noah
I figure this will be good place for us to ask questions about forum functions. A place to check in on how to do certain things while we're all getting used to how the new set up works.
Onyx is the man in this department, I'm hoping he'll be able to check in here from time to time and chime in!
Maybe we can even eventually make a sticky with a list of "How To's".
I'll start with what's probably going to be a common one, how to embed a video directly into a post.
The simplest way I've found is to right-click on the video player itself, select "Copy Video URL" and paste it right into the body of your post.
If you copy and paste the text in the video description, it will still post as a clickable hyperlink, it just won't show the video player in your post.
Onyx explained it to us in the administrator form in greater detail, including how to control the player size.

Copy and paste the link without any addons. but if you want to control the size follow this:
you have the youtube link here:We need this part "nfnkT0Iki8s", its the part right after the v=. That is the video id.Code:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfnkT0Iki8s
once we have that we can go to the action bar at the top and click on the film strip icon.
In that icon we can choose youtube as the provider in the dropdown and paste that code we saved from earlier. also set the size to be in a hd aspect 500x280c works well. That gives us this:

I'm moving this to the Suggestion box. I think more people will see it and benefit from it there.
