When you pray today, talk with God and tell him how you feel. Even though he knows what you want and what you really NEED, he wants you to talk with him. God wants to have a personal relationship with you. Lastly, if you do make any prayer requests, be sure that when that prayer request is granted by God that you gain nothing. For me, I look at this behavior as it is better to give than it is to receive. For example, pray that your neighbor is able to find a rewarding job, or your other neighbor resolves a relationship issue with his brother.
I'm very happy that places like this still exist where God can be discussed and shared in a peaceful, Jesus like manner.
