Good day Mr Danner,

I am reviewing the book and looking for some details maybe i missed in my first read. My questions until now.

1. Page 28 (circuit design) you suggested the use of a test light to "inject" a voltage on the "GM reference wire" in order to make pcm reacts to that signal. The power to the test light comes from battery (+) lead, which is 12v.

Some systems as you mentioned also, use a 5v signal. Do you think is safe to used the test light in those cases or better to use a resistor in series with the test light to get 5v instead?

2. Page 100 (fuel trim example) you simulated a vacuum leak in bank 2 which "force" IAC to fully closed (0 step) and pcm to adjust fuel trims.

Knowing that both bank intake passages are connected, why do you think bank 1 fuel trims didnĀ“t change? i mean, why this vacuum leak in bank 2 is not affecting bank 1 vacuum?

Thanks in advance
