Basics of relays and transistors part 1 question. was created by Mwalsh
In basics of relays and transistors part 1, towards the end on the Jeep, when testing ignition and park/neutral relay switch how would’ve a bad shift linkage effected your testing? I had a shop hire me in before to swap an ignition out for them cause that’s what they were guessing on and ended being wrong and it was a linkage problem tied into the switch is what I was told weeks later when I asked.

Off hand I do not remember but a messed up linkage to a p/n switch would mimic a faulty switch. So your final tests before installing a new switch would be to check for that. Hope I answered your question. Without going back and watching that lecture I may have missed something. Thanks! Let me know.
