If you have low battery / alternator voltage (i.e. 11 volts) while the vehicle is running at idle - could this be a likely scenario for your fuel trims increasing at idle?

As always - thoughts appreciated.

Generally I'd resolve the alternator issues first before trying to address fuel trim issues.

Sounds as if you may have a bad alternator, battery. I'd check those first then circle back to the fuel trims.
