car wont start need help obd2 code - p0562 was created by pratik.shade@gmail.com
Hello friends,

I own a Hyundai Accent 2002 1.5 gvs

my car recently has this strange problem where it does not startup. The car cranks fine. the battery and the connectors have been checked tried a different battery and ECM from a working car as well.

fuel pump does not humm when car started and fuel injectors receive 7 volts. all the relays have been swapped with a similar working car and checked

any suggestions please ?

Hey there!

I'm trying to pull some diagrams to help you, but I don't see a 2002 Hyundai Accent GLX 1.5 model. Are you sure this is the right information?

So going off a diagram for an accent L model, can you check voltage on the ECU 3 fuse in the U/H fuse block? As well, what voltage do you have on the ECU 1 fuse in the same fuse box during cranking?

Hi SniperDan,

Its a Hyundai Accent GVS 2002.

im sorry to ask you this rather stupid question but this fuse box is the one under the hood ? and i did check for the names on the fuse box but didnot find any ecu 3 fuse.

Consider me a total nubie at this.

I'm still having trouble finding information for this vehicle. Can you give me the VIN?

Hi…
P0562 is low voltage; with this in mind I would check all powers and grounds. Both body grounds as well as ecm aka pcm …. I would check at the fuel pump and work my way back to the computer.

That’s if that battery is good and charged.

Do voltage drop testing. Remember that the circuit must be loaded in order to test it..
There are many videos to show you how to do this test…

A scan tool that has bi-directional control. Will help but not needed

I agree with Doc about just starting at the fuel pump and working your way back.

I also couldn't find the engine or trim model Hyundai Accent, but I only have North American service info.
If you're only getting 7v to the injectors, then I bet they share the same feed as the pump. For the 1.6l, that's the MFI control relay (also referred to as Engine Control Relay on another diagram).
