Parasitic draw

I found that the circuit is the "back up" in the under hood box. It consists of the stereo, sun roof, door locks when car is off, interior lights when car is off, and key fob (found so far).

Did a test light on positive terminal, pulled stereo, light stayed on. So that is out. Havent had the time to dig deeper.

Has anyone seen this before or know which would be the most likely to do this?

How many milli amps is it pulling ? Did you give it time to power down all the modules? What are the symptoms is it killing the battery everyday ?

Pardon my ignorance but what do you mean by this?

Agree with Ben.

Which fuse were you looking at, specifically? It's tough to see on the wiring diagrams which one is the back up circuit. I had a glance at the power distribution, and I see a fuse #14 in the under dash box that seems to cover some of the systems you listed:

Does your draw go away when you pull this fuse?

When you noted using a test light on the positive cable, do you mean that you put the light in series between the battery post and the cable end?

I hooked up a test light between the battery terminal and the cable. Car off, unplugged the stereo and had no change in the light

Fuse 23. 10A "backup". When the fuse is pulled, it stops killing the battery. But, when I shut the car off, the tac needle sits at idle rpm. So then I have to turn the key to accessory until the needle drops to 0, then off again. If I don't do this, it still kills the battery.

And yes between the cable and post

I gave a 10 minutes before checking. I can't remember what the draw was. I'll have to check again later today.
Been meaning to get back on here but have been busy and forgot about it.

It will kill the battery pretty quickly. Sometimes within an hour or two. Sometimes longer.
