B) Hello there. there is a nissan micra K12 2003. It crank good and start but immediately die. I have fuel pressure - when you start I it has 3 or 4 ignition spark then it stop .
I know by research this is a common fail in these cars. but since my immobilizer light in the instrument cluster is coming and then go off , I am not sure about the immobilizer problem. I also have a faulty code in Nats (P16ff).
I need 2 things if anyone can helping that should be awesome.
1- wiring diagram for ecu and ignition or NATS.
2- is there any way confirming immobilizer is faulty.

Hi,

I can help you with all the diagrams you need but need chassis No or reg (if in u.k).

What is your actual DTC P1610/P1614 etc as P16FF means nothing. I do have a fix for these for a lot of NATS codes but you will need to be able to read EEPROMS.

Regards
Carl

It would be awesome if you can find the wiring diagrams for me. I am some kind of neighbor ;) . I live in denmark Copenhagen. and I work as Automobile Electrical Technician .

my vin number is : SJNFBAK12U1321078
Micra (K12), 1.2L-- 16V -2004
I also guessed that 16ff can mean noting. but else I have no other fault code.
this had different situation than it is now.by customer claim it could sometimes start and run perfectly with out any problem. and sometimes no start at all.
now I can not start it anyway. even with direct fuel spray
I have good reading from rpm sensor.

new update.
I start the car with getting the plugs out and heating them with fire :P
it started but not clear engine sound. and it could stable at idle so it went off with with out my interfere.

I could read a Good RPM.
and in my camshaft Sensor( 3 pin ), I have reference 12 v- ground- and something between (1.8 - 3 V) with Multi-meter.
any body know is it a ok range or not?

This engine timing driven by chain . I am suspected to the bad timing after I could start it.
I also got the compression and it was around 160 psi .
Is there any way to find out chain is in place or not? with out scope or opening the engine?
regards yashar

I found and fixed the problem.
the problem was holder of timing chain. it was broken . ( since the car has a very good VVT cam shaft it could adjust to runing perfect when it started. it was tricky to find out.
any way. I hope it would be helpful for you.
