2008 i think. Will update when I look at it again. Malibu V6 came in for an intermittent no start a couple months ago. Had no fuel pressure at first then it started and ran fine. Checked fuel pump current looked good. Took a while but it finally wouldn't start again and it wasn't getting power to the fuel pump then couldn't get it to not start again. Fuse/relay block looks good. Wiggle test on both the relay wires and the pcm. Customer wanted the car back so boss threw a relay at it and let them have it. It got towed in for the same complaint last week checked fuel pressure to see if it was the same issue and 0 fuel pressure. Screwed up and pulled the relay to check signal from the computer and couldn't get it to not start all week. I'm thinking that it's going to end up being a pcm. Any tips on how to make it not start so that I can verify it?

there are 2 v6 engines for an 08 Malibu I looked up the 3.5 liter. id check pin 86 on the relay and make sure your getting power there during the no start. if you have power there then its not the pcm. you might have to pull the relay out partially to get something on the relay pin. also id check at x413 when it happens on pin c.

I've got the wiring diagrams and everything for it. I had 2 volt meters hooked up to it for 3 or 4 days. Just wondering if there might be a trick to get one to act up so I can check it.

Other than a wiggle test there's not much to do to make it act up
