Customer called and complained about dashboard lights and wiper going off intermittently and would run normal again. According to him he went to see the dealer and was told to rid of the aftermarket radio he installed before they can check it thoroughly; scan showed a U1054 according to the owner. Also he noticed a faint whining sound coming from the dash that goes with the RPM i.e pitch goes higher as rpm increase.

Since he uses it daily going to work, he does not have any drivability problems. I went to his house to do an initial scan. It showed PO300, a speed sensor circuit fault, and a TPMS code. I suggested for him to drive it to my place and take it from there.

Has anybody experienced working on a hummer (same platform as a colorado according to him) exibiting the same symptom? This will be my first hummer and Im not to familiar with this vehicle. Thank you.

Check the dlc pins 4 and 5. Do a voltage drop between those 2 pins

I show that the U1064 description is Loss Communication with BCM. Knowing which modules set U1064 would be key.

This is a Class 2 network, where the BCM acts as a module on the network AND the splice pack. I'd start with watching pin 2 at the DLC with a scope/DMM and try to make it act up. See if the network is going high, low, or just missing messages.

I apologize for the late reply. Unfortunately the owner did not show up last saturday...he never showed up. As of today, Id like to inform you that this H3 is a close case. Thank you for your inputs.
