Hey Cheryl thank you for your quick respond, my scanner only has live data and timing fluctuates between 8 degrees to 18 BTDC.
How do i go about cleaning the valve?

The P1800 is for the VIAS solenoid, a vacuum switching valve for the intake butterflies. Two wire, ground side switched solenoid mounted right on top of the intake. I got $5 on an open solenoid.

OK so i took off the valve and it was clean, so i put power and ground and valve opened and closed. Next i took off both cam sensors to check the resistance. On bank 1 pins 1&3 i get (04.71)m-oms pins 1&2(1.238) K-oms and pins 2&3(04.84) m-oms. Bank 2 pins 1&3 (06.93) m-oms pins 1&2 (1.141) k-oms and on pins 2&3 (23.01)m-oms. I read somewhere that as long as you get a reading it's good please let me know if they are good.
Hey Tyler on the p1800 code will this cause a misfire ?

Ohming these kind of Hall effect sensors is tricky... Those readings seem OK, but I really don't have a good reference!
If you have the chance, maybe clear the codes and see if you can get the misfire or timing code to reset. I'm betting that you'll see a lack of camshaft advance on one bank while cruising with the engine warm.

OK put back both cam sensors and IVT control valve. Cheryl i tried to switch the valves but they are clocked at different times. The wires that go to the IVT control valve are red and red/white. I do have a scope that's what i have been using 5MHz multiScope don't know how to use it but i will by the time im done. LOL

Ah, so it's misfiring at idle, then? I suppose that'll make it easier to diagnose.
With that timing code, I'm wondering if the chain skipped on one bank? It'd sure explain the misfires.

Today i checked for spark on bank 2 and found that #2 was not firing and #4 was arching from the side. I pulled all three out and ohms the coils and they all tested the same what's up with that. I switched #2 & # 6 and coil did not fire on #6 so i know the coil is bad so why do they test the same?
