hello there in need of some direction here , I have an 2005 Toyota 4 runner with no ECM comm and no Crank , I have check and follow the diagnostic Flow chart for this
ECM has been replace not by me I have the engine light on check the CAN H & L all seem ok Fuses ext starter AND relays, one shot replace J/B because the STA not STA2 had no reaction when try crank 0 + or - to that fuse check power and grn to ECM all pass , eny suggestions on where to look next.
Is there any communication codes in other modules?
Any other modules that also will not communicate with your scanner?
Not doubting your methods, just curious, how did you check the CAN circuits?
I'm sure you are well beyond this point, but I'm the interest of covering bases, powers and grounds need to be load tested at the PCM.
Good morning Noah, yes can H L 2.4 to 2.2 more or less after this post I whent back to check again all my pin value on ECM and found a 12 v on pinE4 -23 VC 5 V REF I unplug all components related to that no change only with the short pin fuse goes away definitely a short wire there im tracking this forward, and to answer your question yes there's communication with all other modules and on ly 1 code for the rear door jam protección something ,thankyou for the input let me know if something pops up .
