Ok guys Im back with a Crank No Start 2004 pontiac grand am. Crank no start when cold. at temp is fine. ICM has B+ and good ground. 24x sensor was showing RPM in PID when KOEO. 3x 0RPM KOEO. I have spark at all six plugs. with the temp issue i put an ECT in to cover my bases. I have my scope set for AC on the 3x sensor. Because of the 24x sensor showing wrong data the customer authorized both the crank sensors to be replaced. i have a square wave form but it is not crisp. My wave form on the 3x sensor looks parabolic but this is my first dual crank sensor motor. I can run an injector balance spec. func. and the vehicle will start and idle indefinitely. I have and can introduce other fuels ie brake clean and the motor will start. the original complaint was possible battery issue. I have used the OEM test for fuel diag., crank sensor, ICM, and fuel inj flow charts on prodemand. Also an added piece of info is that my noid light on INJ 6 was bright and pulsing, then as i check down the line in decending numerical order the bulb dimmed and slowed. I found corrosion rampant in the INJ harness and repaired that. I also have B+ to all injectors. I will add photos from my scope. I am pulling my hair out on this one.
Thanks in advance,
Logan

The problem is only when it's cold outside or every time the engine has cold soaked?
Does the ECT data pid seem like it is reporting accurately when compare to other temp sensors before the engine is started?
If you can induce fuel and start and the engine then you are on the right track with a fueling issue. Does it run lean when it does start and run?
Is this a bank fired injection system? Those had injector problems many years ago, if it has sat for a long time (which I'm guess it has because I don't remember the last time I saw a grand am) the injectors could potentially be restricted

This is anytime the engine has cold soaked. I have let it sit and idle for half an hour at a time before. I dont think its bank driven. im not familiar with that system though

Interesting. Let us know when you get that fixed how the car turns out.
