Hi when I started on this vehicle the maf was under reporting at 2.5 I changed kn air filter and it went to normal not sure if thats what did it but it is reporting right now I originally had a random MF on all cylinders which were going away when you revved engine up or at a high idle ok well that condition seemed to go away , I did see 4 and 5 were the predominate misfires that stayed ! I swapped both coils with other coils and the misfire did not follow and is still on 4 and 5 , one thing I did was an injector cutout test on the port injectors and for some reason the scan tool only gave me 4 cylinders to test but while cutting injector 4 there was no change in RPM , my next step actually is to do a propane vacuum leak test just so I can rule out a sneaky vac leak and then im gonna swap the injectors into other cylinders and see if the lazy fuel issue is solved, I do want to do a injector waveform but I dont think we have an attenuator im not sure if I need one with the snap on Triton? any input is appreciated tommorow im gonna do the vacuum test and then do some swaptronics......and remember. ....DONT BE A PARTS CHANGER .....Scanner danner for life sa 🤣🤣🤣🤣😃
You will be safe to check the injector circuits with your Triton, no attenuator needed.
While you have the scope out, I like a relative compression test any time I have a misfire complaint. Keep us posted 👍
