parasitic draw was created by Mewtwo
Hi Guys, I have a 2020 hino 300 series with a parasitic draw. i asked the customer how long he left the truck before he couldnt start it again and he said about 6 days. When i connected my amp meter in series with the battery I had the metre fluctuat between 52-81 miliamps. It would just continue to fluctuate between those numbers but it would average around 61-65 miliamps. Does anyone have any advice on what the amperage should be on this truck and if those numbers can drain the battery in 6 days? the 6 days is based on what the customer has said, i hope his acurate.

I agree, I like under 50mA. I don't know anything about Hino trucks, but most cars I see settle in far below 50mA. If the customer will okay the time, I would go ahead with draw test but probably wouldn't go too crazy trying to nail it down if it isn't resolved in an hour or two. If there's nothing to be found, I would honestly recommend just starting the truck more often.
