Hi all, My brother has a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT with the 3.6L.
When he parked the truck everything was fine. The next morning he used the factory installed remote starter.
The truck started and ran for about 10 seconds and died. If he uses the ignition key it starts with no issues.
Truck has 71,000 miles. I have the TopDon Phoenix Smart scan tool and it kicked out 16 different codes.
Everything from a small evap leak to networking problems. I'm not a professional just try to help my family.
Have any of you fixed this problem before and can share what the repair was? I would really appreciate it.
I did disconnect the battery to do a reset but it only worked once. The second time we used the remote start it died just like before.
