2010 Ford Explorer 4.0L Transmission issues was created by parkarburhan
Hello, i am facing diagnostic issues with a 2010 ford explorer for a transmission. When i start the car and put in D or R the vehicle doesnt move, it justs revvs and has a very slow movement. But after like a 10 min of idle and when i put it on D or R it moves like nothing is wrong, the up shifts and down shifts are totally normal after that.

Below is FORScan PIDs in relation with the transmission.

Please let me know what it could be.
Thanks

I'm certainly no transmission expert, when they stop working, I change them. My first check would be for trouble codes, then fluid level and quality. You may consider changing the fluid and filter. I seem to recall issues with the harness inside the transmission on that generation 5R55 transmission.
