2008 Ford Expedition 5.4 oil pressure spec was created by brianmstoltzfus
Hi, I am seeing Alldata gives a min oil press spec of 25psi and Mitchell Prodemand says 15psi for a 2008 Expedition with a 5.4. What is correct?

I go by the 25psi spec. There's a Ford VVT training video that uses this spec, and I've seen 3v engines with anything less continue to have VVT issues after chains/phasers install with anything less. I don't know where that 15psi spec came from, but it's a joke.
And obviously, that 25psi minimum is going to be at hot, low idle.
