Hi, I have a 00 ram 1500 4x4. It has a 360 V8, 5 speed, (Ax15), not factory setup. I didn't have it done, it was like that when I got it.
I have a crank, no start. Engine spins all day long. I know that my injectors aren't working, cause I used a noid light on it. I am horrendous with a meter, ( not trained). I've been reading a lot on what it could be. Basically, my injectors have no pulse. I did change out the CPS, but that didn't help. I just need a good leßon on how to test for a short, &/or power from the ASD, or the ecm or ?? Very frustrating !! I really don't want to pay a garage $85 a hr to diagnose y my injectors don't work. I did spray eather into t.b, but it didn't help either. I know I have a ton of fuel in my rails, but I didn't check the pressure. I can hear my fuel pump running. But, I know for a fact that my injectors aren't working, cause of the noid light. Please help !! Again, I am horrible with a meter !! Etc. Thanks
Is there communication to the engine computer?
Very common on this era Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep product for a shorted sensor to pull down the 5v reference circuit resulting in a crank no start with no spark, injector pulse or communication with the computer.
