1995 Ford camper chassis, 7.5L 460 CI gas engine stumble
I am working on a 1995 Ford motorhome chassis with a 460CI gas engine. The problem with the truck is that when you put the truck into gear and maintain a steady throttle the engine cuts out very briefly and then picks right back up again. Being that it is not OBDII I am unable to read the controls with my scan tool. It has had a bunch of new parts installed prior to being brought to me and I'm not the type to throw more at it. Some of my research points to the MAP sensor but it has been replaced twice already. So far it has had a full tune-up, new fuel filter, EGR valve had been unplugged and the coil has been replaced. I was thinking of the pick up in the distributor but it seems too sporadic for that. I'm in hopes it will just plain quit so I can define the issue. Thanks for your time.
