Hi guys, i have been a member for a while now and would like to add my first post. I was wondering if anyone would know the stoichiometric ratio for the best performance for a Diesel engine. I realise that this is a relatively new concept to set up a diesel using this method however I believe this would be the best way to
1. Lower EGT temperatures
2. Prevent black smoke
3. Set up the fuel pump up to save fuel
Thanks in advance for any replies, it would also be cool to find out if anyone has done this and what results you have found?

Diese/Gas Oil/DERV has a stoichiometric ratio of 14.5 : 1 but the problem is incomplete combusion because diesel burns much slowly than Gasoline/Petrol or LPG so require "excess air" to avoid black smoke.
