I'm banging my head here, any help would be appreciated. 2003 expedition 5.4, came to me with lean codes B1 and B2. Occasional stall at idle and I mean just flat die sometimes others a little chugging first. Someone has been chasing this a while. Fuel pump, fuel filter, EGR, iac, intake, pre cat O2 both sides, new vacuum lines. Some or possibly all Amazon parts. I fixed noticable vacuum leaks first. EGR was bad, replaced but I'm a little suspect of the new carquest part. I could blow in the intake side and air would escape from diaphragm area, checked with soapy water. When EGR was off I plugged the port and smoked the intake and had smoke coming from a round cap on the IAC. Don't know if either is normal but I'm still running lean.

I moved your question to its own topic in the repair questions section. This way it will get more attention and not derail the other thread.
Smoke will escape the button on the IAC and the EGR valve during a smoke test.
I would suggest checking freeze frame data to see under what condition the lean codes set.
Then check the fuel trims, short term and long term for both banks, at idle and 2500 rpms as well as on a short test drive.
This will help you determine if you should be looking for a vacuum leak or fuel delivery issue.
