Hey DShock,
I remember your last post trying to chase down the fuel trim issues.

I'm still confused why the camshaft sensors were changed in the the first place for the fuel trim issue. Are you certain there weren't cam timing codes all ready present? The tech that recommended changing them must have seen SOMETHING more than fuel trim problems to point him in that direction.
I'm just trying to put the whole picture together.
I think you may be getting too hung up on the relearn. If this car ended up in my bay, I wouldn't expect a cam and crank correlation with the scan tool to fix these codes.
The relearn, while it is in the steps for camshaft sensor replacement, I don't believe is critical after changing just the sensors.
That's why this is so confusing, at least to me.
It started with fuel trim and cat codes, mechanic recommends camshaft position sensors seemingly by pulling them out of a hat and now after that work it suddenly has cam timing errors it didn't have before, and it won't take a relearn. Just doesn't add up.
For what it's worth, my first step for all those timing codes would be to change the oil and filter, and if there is no improvement, I would then suspect that the engine is genuinely out of time.
It doesn't sound like you have the tools to scope the cam and crank sensors to compare to a known good engine, and it also sounds like you may not have the tools to take the engine apart and physically check timing. So, unfortunately, you're at the mercy of your mechanic to make that call.
If you don't trust him and can't verify the timing for yourself, you may want to to bring it to another shop or dealership for a second opinion.
I genuinely hope you get this cleared up, please keep us posted and let us know how it turns out.
Best of luck!
