Crank sensor resistance? was created by timothy.spencer
Anyone who has a subscription to Identifix or All Data have time to look up the resistance spec of the crankshaft position sensor on a 2007 Camry 2.4L?   I have Mitchell and just want to verify what other sources say it is, to make sure it's not a misprint.

Thanks

Thanks.  What source was that from?  That's very interesting.  Here's what Mitchell shows. I wonder why different sources show different values?  I would have thought there would be 1 spec from Toyota, no matter what service data source we use.

I'm using Identifix and searched for p0335 typical crank sensor code.
If I dig into OEM DIRECT I found what you found on Mitchell:

Check out this PDF

pdfhost.io/v/NHtE7oZjO_2AZFE_Engine_Control_System

Type in the page number in the upper left to jump to them.

Page 377 shows the Mitchell specs and the one from OEM DIRECT on Identifix

Page 185 shows a different resistance spec when you search for P0335

Hmmm, interesting...

That is strange. Wonder why the specs listed for this car aren't all the same. What got me on to this topic was, I noticed the crank sensor in my wifes car was slightly out of spec. Bought a brand new one and it too was out of spec. Compared it to another car I have with a similar engine and it too was out of spec. Made me start wondering if the spec listed was wrong.
