2005 Ford Expedition dtc`s P0349 & P3045 was created by rob24chevy
Got a 2005 with dtc`s p0349 & P0345. tested alt.and showed bad so replaced and swapped cam sensor codes came right back. Have Verus edge but new to the scope and not sure about settings or where to test at PCM. Any help greatly appreciated.

Sorry missed the part where you said you already tested the alternator and replaced it. So the ripple test was bad?

How does this one run? If there's not an obvious alternator ripple issue, then I'd tend to suspect a timing chain issue. :unsure:

If you could, hook up your Verus scope to the battery. Turn electric loads on as described in the TSB. Volts DC with the 'AC Coupling' set on. 1V scale should be plenty. 500ms time base. Record the min/max reading and let us know what you see. Or save the capture and send it to me at wrenchturnsyou@gmail.com.
