Hey Kart96! I moved your thread into the Repair section for more traffic.
Honestly, I really can't recommend any reman module sources for you. You've seen the negative reviews, and I've found that they're mostly deserved. The remans I've used usually fixed one problem and installed another.
IMO, 95% of 'reman' modules are used parts with a paint job and a sticker. In the case of your Explorer, I think you're much better off finding a locally sourced used module and programming with FJDS. Or, send your existing module to a legit repair service. Circuit Board Medics and Automotive Circuit Solutions are two that I've used with great results.

We haved used Auto ECMs. My SA was the commercial parts manager for my vendor before working for me. She sold quite a few, only one bad one and they made it right quicky. They are definitely more expensive, but at least its guaranteed.
