I am still trying to fix the po507, cant find any more vacuum leaks and all items pertaining to this code have been tested , cleaned and still not corrected!! Now a new issues has arised!! When i was checking codes on my Verus Pro , like thirty codes popped up!!!!!! Service suspension was on the dash, things like air bag igniter, door lock and on !!!!!! Now i hear the TIPM is a issue with this jeep. Does it ever end? Thanks.
I fixed the po507 code !!!! It was the throttle plate set screw !! Someone before me must have turned screw out to compensate for issues when engine was crapping out!!! Now with new rebuilt 4.7 it was idling too high!!! Found it when i was smoke testing for vacuum leaks!! Thought that there was a lot of smoke coming around plate!!!! Took a piece of cardboard and cut out the IAC opening , and covered the rest of the throtle while idling and wow!!!! It idled right down to 600 rpms and everything worked as it should!!!!! Turned the set screw in about 3 or four turns and it is resolved!!!!!!!! Thanks
