Hey guys I'm working on a 2009 Chevy Cobalt Manual 2.2 it's a No Crank No start and setting code P080A Clutch Position not learned. From what I read about the code when it sets you have to do a relearn with the scan tool or it will not Crank. I was using the OTC Encore and didn't see the option in the menus.. Is it available on other scanners like the Verus, Maxisys, or are you forced to use the Tech II? Thanks
im not sure. i know the snap on scanners have a brake pedal position relearn in the bcm. do you see a pid for the clutch switch in the ecm? wonder if it would start jumping the switch with a jumper wire.
Yes under engine there are pids for the clutch, clutch pedal position learned position, clutch pedal position voltage, clutch percentage. When I apply the cutch all the way it's percentage goes to 70 %
