Cylinder 3 injector

I have a 2000 dodge ram 1500 2wd 5.9l magnum. I got a p0203 code wich is injector circuit malfunction. I had a rat chew my wires on the injector plug so i replaced the plug that didnt solve it still get the code and missfires pretty bad. Changed out all the injectors still no luck. I tried the trick with a test light on the feed wire at the ecm to check for an open wire and the test light doesnt light up. Does this mean my ecm is bad?

do you have power on the dark green/orange wire? (connect test light to battery negative) and check. first easiest check. you need to check for a pulsed ground at the pcm on pin 5 yellow/white wire at the ecm. (have test light hooked up to battery positive and look for a flashing light while engine is running) you may need to clear the code as it may have intentional shut down. might have pulse for a minute and go away due to intentional shut down. it may be to old for this though

If the +12v side of the injector plug is dead It sounds to me like you still have a wire damaged.

Have power at both wires at the injector with the test light and no flashing at the wire at the computer

do you have 12 volts at the pcm? if so the wiring is good and so is the injector. then id suspect a pcm

My multi meter is not working so i dont know if it had 12 volts or not. But my test light does not come on when hooked to battery postive on the yellow and white wire on pcm with truck running

What cheryl said....At the PCM, do you have 12v on Pin 5, Connector 2 ( Yel/Wht )?

I am on my way to get a new multi meter will post if i ha e 12v or not.. all i have had to test with is a test light.
