Today I drove the car for quite awhile and i noticed that the car is not going into closed loop, the scanner shows "open loop due to insufficient temperature" , the temp reading on the scanner is 98°C . Any ideas what can cause the car to not go into closed loop???

Engine coolant sensor and and it's circuit ,thermostat , o2 sensors and others.
Assuming is never a good thing.
