Help us help you. By posting the year, make, model and engine near the beginning of your help request, followed by the symptoms (no start, high idle, misfire etc.) Along with any prevalent Diagnostic Trouble Codes, aka DTCs, other forum members will be able to help you get to a solution more quickly and easily!
Hey guys, hoping someone can shed some light on this before I introduce it to a light and match!
Vauxhall Vivaro 2008 2.0 cdti crank no start.
went into a garage for injector change and now it won’t start.
Live data readings are all haywire, which I will attach.
gearbox earth strap was corroded and broke away when you touched it, which I’ve replaced. I’ve checked all other earths and load tested them
I’ve had all engine management sensors disconnected as I imagined one was shorting out causing these readings, but to no avail.
Ecu has been tested and deemed ok. Even though my live data says supply voltage is 214.7v - each sensor is reading 5v when testing independently.
EGR has previously been blanked off, but not mapped out to my knowledge. (Customer says been like this for a while and ran fine)
I have seen a Vauxhall forum where someone had the exact same readings I have, number for number. He said he had a split in the hand primer next to the filter…
ac pressure sensors wiring had rubbed through but I’ve isolated it, customer has cruise control retrofit, but I’ve disconnected the wiring on the pedal and plugged in the original
live data readings do not change when cranking
I have a fault code P0651
Hi there,
Do you have access to another scanner? Clearly the voltage at the ecu isn’t over 200 volts, but if the scanner is reporting incorrectly it could be misleading.
I would also measure voltage supply at the ecu. If data is the same on another scanner and supply voltage is the same as the battery then I would be getting on the phone to whoever has tested the ecu.
