Hi everybody
does someone here have access to OE diagrams and component location ?
2016 passat CPRA 1.8 auto
I need to find splice D181  track 122  (thank Tyler for diagram you poster years ago here )
there are N80 N205 N112 V51 on the same wire
all disconnected and still short , so im looking for splice to narrow down
Any help would be appreciated

I need to find splice D181  track 122  (thank Tyler for diagram you poster years ago here )

I posted a diagram for this Passat years ago?  Could you link me? Not questioning you, just curious.

So I went over service info for D181 and only found this little (useless) tidbit: "Connection 2 (87A) (in Engine/Motor Compartment Wiring Harness)". Figures.

I'm assuming you're chasing D181 because fuse #8 in Fuse Panel B keeps popping from a dead short? If that's the case, you may be better off finding connector T14. It's between Fuse Panel B and splice D181. SI isn't clear, but it's either #6 or #8 in this picture:

 

If you disconnect T14 and the short remains, work towards Fuse Block B. If the short goes away, work towards the engine.
