Dave here, I am having problems after replacing the intake manifold gaskets. I had a small water Ieak at the intake manifold and changed the intake gaskets and went to start it. The truck a 2001 Chevy S10 with a 4.3 auto.It cranks good and has a good charged up battery. I checked for spark, good, with a fuel P/T I got 55 psi. and it held for a good long time. I ohmed out the injectors and they all were within 2 ohms. I checked for injector pulse all good. My lights security light and dash lights all work and no check engine light or codes. I can smell fuel but no start. I have tried spraying starting fluid into the intake hose but still no start or want to start. Need help.

Hey Dave!
I moved this from the welcome mat to the repair questions section. You'll get more help here.

I am assuming the coolant leak was from the lower intake?
I don't think coolant goes anywhere through the upper, but it's been a little while since I took one apart.

I'm wondering if distributer had to be removed.
I'm thinking the distributer could be stuck wrong or the wires misrouted.

I'm not criticizing your work, just looking at the pieces you gave us to work with.

All the inputs seem like they're present if you have spark and injector pulse. Plus you smell fuel and starting fluid didn't fire it up.

Bring it up to TDC #1 and take the distributor cap off. Look at the base and see if the rotor lines up with the little 6 on the distributor. If it doesn't your distributor is stabbed wrong.
