2011 Ram 1500 Blower Motor Resistor keeps blowing -- Manual AC -- New Blower.

2011 Ram 1500 4wd.  Blower Motor Resistor keeps blowing.  Has Manual Controls.   Connector is good and clean from resistor to blower motor.  Blower motor is new and gets power directly from the TIPM Module.  This is about 4th Resistor over last few years.  but this time we lost new resistor in 3 days.   I am having mental block so could use help.

Are these resistors cheap aftermarket parts?
How exactly are they failing, just start dropping out speeds, melting down etc...
Have you inspected the terminals in the connector for signs of fatigue or fretting? Most repeat failures of blower motors or resistors that I see are a combination of low quality parts and unresolved connection issues that can get masked when installing a new part.

"Ground cannot be checked with a 10mm socket"
