2013 GMC Serria 1500, 4.3lt engine - crank no start. was created by forumoto
This car is petrol or gasoline, engine has been replaced. Because the first engine won’t start. So another engine was bought and it came without other accessories, it from top to down. So I had to take all sensors and accessories to fix on this.. now engine crank and sometimes give pre-ignition back fire. But won’t start..
i have managed to take cam and crank waveform with my handtek2d72 scope, please can someone look at this and advice please. Thanks

CKP in green, CMP in yellow? It sure looks like there's an issue with the CKP. Several reluctor wheel teeth seem to be missing and/or not getting picked up by the sensor.
I couldn't find a known good for a Sierra 4.3L, but I did find this one from an Express 4.3L on iATN:
Was the crankshaft reluctor wheel one of the components that got transferred between engines?
If possible, I'd remove the CKP sensor and use a borescope to get a look at the reluctor wheel while slowly turning the engine over by hand. Check for a loose crankshaft balancer bolt while you're there.
