cold engine startup key on engine off I found that my IAC valve closes instead of opening. it starts on very low rpm and shaking a lot and then it seems to open for more air flow so rpm raises slowly until about 1000 and then drops to 700 faster then it should.

is this more related to the IAC system itself or MAP sensor is suspect? the IAC is supposed to open for more air on startup right?

why is it closing instead of opening?
