ok i'm going nuts here, 2 days ago i was sitting in van waiting for tow truck to show up and move a car i just bought to my shop and the van in question was idling and suddenly died. i turned the key to re start and it cranked but no start.there were no lights on but earlier that week a couple times the battery light had come on and gone back off. well instead of towing the mustang to my shop my van got towed home.

after getting it here i first checked for any codes using key method and got none at all not even the initial 12 and 55?

next i checked fuel and at crank it read 44psi

i pulled a plug and did compression check to be sure it was not a timing chain issue and got 125 psi reading

i then checked spark at plugs and no visible spark.

coil pack readings at aprox 50 deg. primary .8 1.3 1.3
secondary 12,277 12,145 12,239

crank sensor last night at power feed was 5.14 but when i cranked it it dropped and then went back to 5+
i couldnt get a ground to ground reading

when i went back to it today i rechecked the crank sensor and it read 2.18 with key on..
12.53 volt at battery any help please this is my work van and i cant work without it

well tried to attach a vid but too lg even as a zip but power to crank sensor reads 8.98 with key on then 2.25 while cranking and remains there till key off. when key on again it returns to 8.98

are you on the orange wire at the crank sensor? on a schematic it shows that as being the 8 volt supply check the black/light blue for a ground. maybe load test it with a headlight bulb.... if you don't have a scope backprobe or pierce the gray/black wire turn the motor over by hand and see if the voltage changes.... can you communicate with the van with a hand held scanner??

ok well it started for about 60 seconds then died and source power was down to 2.22 with key still in the run position. when cycled off and back to run it read 8.89 then drooped while cranking to 2.24 and would not start.

Did you check for coil control?
It should be a 4 wire connector. One wire should have power when the ASD Relay is energized (during the key on prime, cranking and running). The other 3 should switch to ground to fire the coils. You wouldn't think the whole coil would fail all at once, but it's worth doing some circuit checks here. You could even be missing the power feed.

I'd start my checks there and then move on to inputs depending on what you find there.
This should be your exact system:

"Ground cannot be checked with a 10mm socket"

I only see coil pack resistance measurements and crank sensor circuit checks..
Sorry if I'm missing it.

ok the first 5 min of the video u shared was with the vehicle running, prior to checking coil primary and secondary resistance i pulled wires and seen tyhat i did not have spark coming out of the coil while cranking.
